I am the mother of a 3 year old girl and a 1 year old boy. with my daughter i was always scared and worried something was wrong. they always took care of me and my daughter like i wasn't crazy. :) when my son was born he was born with a syndrome that wasn't well known. I took what i thought it was to Dr. Joyce and he said some things matched but others don't lets not jump to conclusions just wait. that's not what I wanted to hear but he was absolutely right. the waiting gave me time to come to terms with what my son could have and it wasn't so much of a shock when he was diagnosed. we have a lot of specialty doctors now and if i ever need a referral all i have to do is call and they put it in for me no problems. i usually get a call within 2 days saying that i can go ahead and make my appointment. the also have a 24 hour line that you can call and the doctor will call you back and let you know if it's absolutely necessary for you to take action or wait it out. this saves me from a lot of un-wanted trips to the ER. I love the nursing staff. they are always so friendly and informative.

My son has been seeing the doctors and Nurses at Northshore Pediatrics since birth. I have always been happy with their openess to have you bring your child in for a same day appointment if there is any serious concern. The doctors don't make you feel like a hypochondriac instead opting for the "better safe than sorry" philosophy.

North shore pediatrcis is a great place to take your child. They are always there for you when you need them, and if they are closed the answering service will page a doctor for you to get in contact with. They are very friendly and helpful.

2 of my 5 children have been seen at this practice in a pinch when we were unable to be seen by their regular dr. the waiting room toys are filthy and they don't seem to keep sick children away from children there for well checks. the drs are average, but not at all spectacular. the office staff is friendly, but you need more than a nice office staff to make a good peds office.
