went in for dinner, and they were out of everything. ordered drinks, and the liqour was watered down. asked for my $20 back, i paid at the door, and they refused. place is horrible.

as of jan 1, 2010 velvet is under new managment . come check out all the new daily specials. they are the best around. velvet has also hired all new staff. its a great place to kick back enjoy some good music and take a load off. i see you there.‎

My husband and I stopped in here before we went to the Dane Cook show at the Scope. The atmosphere was nice, very upscale looking. But there must be a real management problem, because the bartenders seem not to care about there customers. I first asked for a White Russian and she said they were out of cream, and never offered to make it with milk, so I am sure they were out of that too. Then we asked for a Shocktop and the keg was tapped, so I asked for a budlight which also appeared to almost be out. Later I asked to try Tuaca because I had never heard of it before and they had a cooling machine for it, big surprise it was out.
